As the Dreamworm draws near, the gravity of the immense creature will throw the Earth's weather systems into disarray, resulting in massive storms. The Worm will first swallow the Sun, plunging our entire planet into darkness. Then, as it approaches the Earth, its sound will begin to reach us. At first a deep humming, more felt than heard, it will grow steadily in volume until it reaches a deafening roar.
